Does this feel familiar?

Start With What The Problem Is Stopping You From Doing.

When pain starts changing a movement, position, task or activity, that is a useful place to begin. See whether any of these experiences sound familiar.

Sitting Becomes Uncomfortable

Pain builds during work, driving or long travel.

Bending Or Lifting Triggers Pain

Daily tasks feel guarded or unpredictable.

Pain Returns After Short-Term Relief

You feel better for a while, then flare again.

Sleep Or Morning Movement Is Difficult

Turning in bed or getting up feels stiff or painful.

What · Why · How

Understand Back Pain Before Choosing The Next Step.

Start with the pattern you feel. The goal is to understand the problem well enough to choose appropriate care, not to force a diagnosis from one symptom.

  1. WHAT
    What Patients Usually Notice

Back pain can be local, one-sided or spread toward the buttock or leg. The key is how it behaves during sitting, bending, standing, walking and sleep.

  2. WHY
    Why The Pattern Matters

Repeated pain is often influenced by more than one factor: spinal movement, hip contribution, muscle guarding, load tolerance and sensitivity can all matter.

  3. HOW
How SPORT-FIT PHYSIO CARE Approaches It

SPORT-FIT PHYSIO CARE starts with symptom behaviour and movement testing, then uses Integrated Manual Therapy™ and Manuthera 242 when clinically relevant, followed by progressive rehabilitation if capacity needs to improve.

Understand the pattern

What May Be Influencing Your Symptoms?

The page does not diagnose you. It helps explain why the same symptom can behave differently from one person to another, and why assessment should guide the care plan.

Pain Can Be Multi-Factorial

Joints, discs, muscles, hips, sensitivity and loading strategy can all influence symptoms.

The Scan Is Not The Whole Story

Imaging can be useful, but function and symptom behaviour still need clinical assessment.

Movement Response Matters

What changes your pain during bending, walking or sitting can help guide the next step.

Integrated Manual Therapy™

What SPORT-FIT PHYSIO CARE Checks Before Deciding What To Do.

Integrated Manual Therapy™ is SPORT-FIT PHYSIO CARE’s assessment-led care framework. It combines the manual, physiotherapy and movement strategies that fit your presentation, with Manuthera 242 considered for selected spine cases and progressive rehabilitation when strength or load tolerance needs to improve.

Pain Location & Spread

Local back pain, buttock pain or symptoms travelling into the leg.

Lumbar Movement

Bending, extension, rotation and movement confidence.

Hip Contribution

Hip mobility and how the hips share load with the lower back.

Strength & Control

Trunk, hip and lower-limb control when relevant.

Load Tolerance

Sitting, lifting, work and activity demands.

Safety Screen

Nerve changes and symptoms that may need medical review.

  1. 01Settle Irritability

Identify positions and movements that can be modified without unnecessary fear.

  2. 02Restore Useful Movement

Build comfortable spine and hip movement.

  3. 03Improve Control

Rebuild trunk and hip control for daily tasks.

  4. 04Strengthen

    Progress strength according to tolerance.

  5. 05Build Load Tolerance

Return to sitting, lifting, work and exercise demands.

  6. 06Return To Life

Create a plan for normal activity and flare-up self-management.

One Clinical Direction, Not A Menu Of Techniques.

You do not need to choose chiropractic, osteopathy, myofascial release or another method before you arrive. SPORT-FIT PHYSIO CARE selects appropriate techniques after assessment and rechecks the movement or task that mattered to you.

Clinical context

Your MRI Can Be Useful. Your Movement Still Matters.

A disc bulge, degeneration or “normal” scan does not automatically explain how much pain you feel or which movement will help. SPORT-FIT PHYSIO CARE uses the scan as context, then examines how your symptoms behave in real movement.

  • Bring existing MRI/X-ray reports if you already have them.
  • You do not need to obtain a new scan before every first visit.
  • New bowel/bladder changes, saddle numbness or rapidly worsening weakness require urgent medical attention.

“These are people with magical hands ❤️. Am 46, and I had back pain for more than 6 months, applied ointment, took tablets and even visited several clinics n hospitals, took Ultrasound, CT scan but nothing was found. Finally I visited this place. Famidha maam and her assistant Krishna instantly found out the rootcause and the pain vanished in just 2 sessions. I took my cousin as well who was unable to sleep properly due to his back pain. He too got recovered. If you have back pain or any muscle/bone related issues, or if u have a desk job and have back pain, this must be the first place anyone should visit. Fantabulous job and I Strongly recommend this place.”

Questions patients ask before booking

Clear Answers Before Your First Visit.

8 focused questions for Back Pain

These questions address common worries around scans, safety, activity, treatment and rehabilitation. They are educational and do not replace an individual clinical assessment.

01Is my back pain definitely a disc problem?

Not necessarily. Disc-related pain is one possibility, but joints, muscles, hips, sensitivity and movement habits can also contribute. The first visit is used to assess the pattern rather than assume the cause from pain location alone.

02Do I need an MRI before I come?

Usually not if you do not already have one. Bring any existing reports. Imaging is most useful when it is likely to change management or when medical review is indicated.

03Will I receive treatment on the first visit?

When the assessment indicates it is appropriate, yes. The first visit is designed to assess, explain the working clinical picture, provide selected treatment and recheck your response.

04Should I stop walking or exercise?

Not automatically. Many people benefit from modifying aggravating loads rather than stopping all movement. Your plan should identify what can continue safely and what needs temporary adjustment.

05How many sessions will I need?

That depends on duration, irritability, recurrence, strength and your response. After the first visit, SPORT-FIT PHYSIO CARE can advise whether short treatment or progressive rehabilitation is more suitable.

06What if pain goes into my leg or I have numbness?

Tell the clinician clearly. Radiating pain, tingling, numbness or weakness may require neurological testing. Rapidly worsening weakness, saddle numbness or bowel/bladder changes need urgent medical assessment.

07Can back pain improve even if my MRI shows degeneration?

Yes. Scan findings and symptoms do not always match perfectly. The clinical assessment focuses on your current pain pattern, movement and function, while using existing imaging when it is relevant.

08What should I bring to the first visit?

Bring any existing scan or medical report if you have one, a list of current medicines if relevant, and clothing that allows comfortable movement. You do not need to obtain new imaging just for the appointment.
